DOD 8570 Information Assurance Training

In support of customer requirements for 8570 IA training, VeroTek is now offering a series of CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ classes, along with CISSP courses, enhanced with hands-on exercises and supplemented with DOD-specific security examples.

Training Development

VeroTek staff have 35 years of experience developing and delivering technology training for customers. VeroTek's strength is the rapid delivery of "solutions training" that spans the multi-vendor systems of a client environment. VeroTek instructors are experts at explaining the "big picture" using a suite of tools to make training practical, positive, humorous and effective.

Examples of our development programs include:

U.S. Navy SPAWAR SSC-SD - Developed "8570-customized" versions of Security+ and CISSP classes that include additional material pertinent to SPAWAR network administration and security.

U.S. Navy - Developed training for the Carrier Battle Groups on the "Embedded Firewall" system.

Fleet Industrial Supply Center - VeroTek developed and delivered custom network administration training when FISC consolidated their network environment.

Honeywell H&BC - VeroTek developed and delivered network administration training to all U.S. and Canadian branches for their "Branch of the Future" project.

San Diego Gas & Electric/Sempra - Developed the end-user training material that was part of the company-wide "Access95" LAN standardization project led by VeroTek.

Hewlett-Packard - Glenn Kennedy authored an "Introduction to Networking" for Hewlett-Packard, and a series of training courses on new server products.

Novell - VeroTek was the subject matter experts for the Novell "Networking Technology" course.

Apple/Computerland - VeroTek was the subject matter expert and delivered the Apple/Computerland video teleconference training on "IBM Mainframe/3270 architectures."
